Ignition Coils

About Ignition Coils

The growing demand for specialized ignition solutions has led MOTORTECH to design and manufacture its own comprehensive range of ignition coils. From standard epoxy-molded ignition coils to shell-type high-energy coils, as well as shielded and CSA-certified versions, MOTORTECH offers a wide portfolio of ignition coils “Made in Europe” and distributed globally.

These ignition coils are specifically engineered to meet the demanding requirements of modern gas engine applications, including lean-burn engines, high-voltage measuring systems such as MOST® (MOTORTECH Output Stage Technology), Auto Spark Control (ASC), and spark reference indicating systems. Each application requires precise electrical characteristics, making both design and manufacturing processes critical.

MOTORTECH ignition coils are produced using semi-automated vacuum manufacturing processes combined with high-speed winding technology. This ensures consistent quality, repeatability, and reliability—so every coil delivers identical performance. Designed for the toughest industrial environments, these ignition coils are built for long service life and dependable operation.
